An autoresponder is a system bot that sends automatic replies to visitors’ messages.

You can use the autoresponder to:

  • Reply to a visitor’s first message: The reply will be sent as soon as the visitor sends the first message. You can also specify when the reply should be sent — when your operators are online, offline, or both.
  • Reply when a visitor is waiting for the first response: The reply will be sent if operators are online and do not respond to the first visitor’s message within the specified time (1, 2, or 5 minutes).

To enable the autoresponder or edit the texts of the replies, go to Settings → Chatbots → Autoresponder.
