Automatic email address request

You can collect visitors’ emails automatically. This is how it works. After a visitor sends the first message, the Chaport bot requests his / her email address. It says that the email is required to send reply notifications.

By default, an email address is automatically requested only if all operators are offline. You can request emails when operators are online by enabling the setting “Request a visitor’s email address automatically when operators are online” in Settings → Chatbots → Email Request.

Please note: You can also use a pre-chat form or a custom bot to ask your website visitors to provide their names, email addresses, and other info.
